The Mazatlan Cultural Festival is a forum of great importance for the dissemination of the arts that has placed Mazatlan among the main cultural destinations of Northwest Mexico. This morning at a press conference, the Mayor, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, accompanied by the Director of the Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlan, Marsol Quiñónez and the Artistic Director, Zoila Fernández, announced the billboard of the Mazatlan Culture Festival 2019.
From August 31 to December 31, a very large range of great shows will be offered, four months of intense cultural activity, with theater, dance, music, photography, among other artistic trends.
By granting the Festival a bonus, this year it was possible to win a place in the granting of co-investment grants to cultural and artistic festivals (PROFEST), obtaining extraordinary resources to enrich a unique billboard.
With recurring and expected shows such as the Christmas Gala and The Nutcracker, music concerts, shows with great artists such as “Jazzeando”, great events such as the Mexicanísimo Concert, La Tercera es la Vencidad, Opera Ballet, From the New World, Anatomy of Love, the Requiem of Mozart, Gala Peralta II, The Barber of Seville by Rossini, Al Son del Mariachi, as well as free shows that will reach every corner of the Port through the Cultura in your Community program. This year, Mazatlan will seek to make history so that its inhabitants enrich their cultural heritage and are part of this phenomenon that is growing and improving every year.
Within the official announcement of the range of shows of this Artistic Forum, the Mayor, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, announced all the details of the celebration of Independence Day, an event that will entertain with singer Alicia Villarreal as the main presentation, where a popular festival will be offered to all citizens for free.
