With the aim of promoting local artistic talent and contributing to the prevention of the spread of the Coronavirus Covid-19, the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán created the “Cultura in your House” program.
Through the Cultura Mazatlan Facebook page, the Paramunicipal will be sharing daily different artistic presentations by students, teachers and members of the different companies and groups of the Municipal Center of Arts.
Starting with “Stay at Home concerts”, members and teachers of the Camerata Mazatlán, will offer musical pieces performed from their homes, so that lovers of art and culture can enjoy quality and talent from Mazatlan, in addition to arousing interest in children and young people to practice the different artistic disciplines and share healthy recreation activities now that it is important that citizens take shelter in their homes, this entrusted to the Mayor of Mazatlán, Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres,
All this was announced by José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, in charge of the General Directorate of the Instituto de Cultura, who invited all citizens to attend these concerts that show a little of what is done within the CMA.
“We invite all of you to witness these Stay at Home concerts every afternoon, enjoy this project, thinking of the entire Mazatlan community and our followers, and to feed your soul with these majestic performances,” he said.
The presentations will be shared daily, in the afternoon, on the official Cultura Mazatlan Facebook page and through the Instagram platform.
