On Monday, November 2, starting at 6:00 pm,, the Government of Mazatlán headed by the Mayor, Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres, through the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, directed by José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, will present “Metamorphosis: Myths and Legends of Mexico”, the celebration of the Day of the Dead that this year will revolve around the ancestral stories of this ancient tradition.

As a prevention measure for the Covid-19 pandemic, the celebration will be held only in virtual mode, without losing the essence and quality of one of the greatest traditions of our country.

“La Llorona”, “Tzitzimime”, “The island of the dolls” will come to life in a series of videos that will be part of this special program that will include a spectacular tour of the Municipal Center of Arts of Mazatlan starring teachers and students of this educational center and that will express the passion and pride that Mexicans have for their identity.

“Metamorphosis: Myths and Legends of Mexico” will be broadcast on the Cultura TV Facebook page.
