– Students of the Singing Degree of the Superior School of Music of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán surprised the public with an end-of-course recital.

At the Museo de la Música, each soloist showed their progress in lyrical singing through pieces performed with the accompaniment of maestro Juan Pablo García on piano.

Students Lidia Citlali Pozos Hernández, Diana Itzel Ramírez Martínez, Rosa Ferreiro, Vanessa Gama, María Guadalupe Álvarez, Ashanti Palomares, Luis Rodrigo Gallegos, Sheyli Batzin and Gerardo Sosa shared the repertoire, voice management and acting.

Maestro José Manuel Espinoza explained that during the presentation the artistic performance of each participant was qualified.

The committee were the teachers of body expression, theater and musical repertoire and when qualifying they took into account their tuning, acting, body expression and command of the language.

José Miguel Valenzuela, teacher in the Bachelor of Singing at the Municipal Center of Arts, assured that the study plans of the career improved this year and became more practical towards singers.

“It was a great success of maestro Víctor Alonso Osuna to get the student to focus only on his singing, which is really where his work will ultimately be noticed, in singing, more than in theoretical subjects”, he pointed out.
