“Sueños Tangibles” [tangible dreams], a pictorial exhibition by Gloria López Gavito will be inaugurated on Thursday, September 7th at 7:00 p.m. at Casa Haas. Free admission.
Dreams make up a model that provides visual and tangible strength to abstract concepts related to time, the human soul or personal identity.
The matter in which dreams are made has to be palpable and somehow corporeal; Although dreams are as fleeting and elusive as life, they are not completely separate from reality, they give it shape, concretion and crystallize it. Perhaps that is why they touch us so deeply, considers the author of “Sueños Tangibles”.
When dreams come true, they remained so firm in one and so much has been traveled towards them, that they arrive… or are reached.
Also… when a dream comes true, you get much more strength and joy to keep dreaming, considers the fine artist.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until October 12th at Casa Haas, located on Mariano Escobedo street, corner with Heriberto Frías, Col. Centro.
