Made up of virtuous musicians, next Thursday, September 14th at 7:00 p.m., the Maestoso Trio will make its debut in the Port of Mazatlán with a concert at Casa Haas.

Originally from different latitudes of Mexico, Gessael García Picazo (Puebla), on the flute, Iván Vázquez Díaz (Durango), on the French horn, and Rocío González Benítez (Sinaloa), on the piano, will be the stars of this event where they will perform beautiful pieces by composers from France such as Cécile Chaminade, Mel Bonis and Eugene Bozza; American Eric Ewazen, as well as Mexican Samuel Zyman, among others.

The members of the ensemble are outstanding musicians trained in Mexico and abroad, with the experience of endearing presentations before audiences in the United States, France, Germany and Italy, in addition to having won different scholarships in recent years in Mexico.

Iván Vázquez currently works as a professor at the Superior School of Music of the Juárez University in the state of Durango, and is the Principal Horn of the UJED Symphony Orchestra. Gessael García is the Principal Flutist of the UJED Symphony Orchestra, and in his career it stands out that he represented Mexico in the 62nd edition of the Collegium Musicum in Germany.

Mazatlecan pianist Rocío González has an extensive professional career where she stands out as a soloist in the Sinaloa Symphony Orchestra of the Arts, and the Chamber Orchestra of the School of Music of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, in addition to having participated in the 2015 Festival of Piano in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Ticket sales are available at the Ángela Peralta Theater box office from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, while on Saturdays they work from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets have a cost of 150 pesos and the space is limited to 70 people.
