“Bewitching Broadway,” one of the Big Apple’s highest-grossing shows, celebrates its international premiere in Mazatlán this Friday, December 8th and Saturday, December 9th at the Ángela Peralta Theater at 8:00 p.m. .
Scott Coulter, creator of this fantastic staging, celebrated that it is Mazatlán, his first stage outside the United States of America and where “Bewitching Broadway” will conclude the annual season after a year of successful presentations in New York and Wisconsin.
Creator, singer and narrator in the work, indicated that the public will enjoy a Broadway concert, with great musicals of this genre, pieces that have to do with witches, with scarey things, with a bit of supernatural characters, magic and more elements that will captivate the audience.
Scott Coulter shared that bringing the cast together was not very difficult, because the concept is special, because the whole idea of a witch is used, like in “Wicked”, in “The Little Mermaid”, also the artistic talent is phenomenal, the singers who will be on stage are some of the best voices in the world, Andrés Franco is a great director and the Camerata Mazatlán has great musicians in its ranks.
“The premiere was in Buffalo, New York, with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, it has also been done with the Milwaukee Symphony in Wisconsin. “Mazatlán will be the third stop and this program, since it has a certain affinity with the Halloween season, is not presented all year round, it will be the closing this 2023, it is also the international premiere of this production but obviously it will continue next year,” exclaimed the producer.
Scott Coulter indicated that it is the fourth time that it is presented in the Port, a city for which he has appreciation and affection, and being part of the Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2023 fills it with prestige since it is a show nourished by artists from the region and from different parts of the world.
