“Dialogues of Our History” begins with a very attractive event for children and adults with the desire to see and hear words that form poetry in the voices of unique participants.
This Wednesday, January 17th, a Poetry Slam will be held in Plazuela Machado next to the Ángela Peralta Theater.
According to Wikipedia, the Slam, also known as Poetry Slam, is both a performance poetry competition and a subgenre of it that brings together different styles with multiple influences (such as theater, rap, comedy or performance), in which the participants or “slammers” have 3 minutes of time to present texts of their own authorship to an audience, who decides the winner, using only their body and voice.
The appointment for this event is at 6 pm and Lupita Rojas, Giovanni Carlo, Melly Peraza, Karina Castillo, Ely Estolano, Lucas Velarde, Pedro Rodríguez and Marissa Olivera will participate.
