Great surprises will be experienced by Mazatlán residents and tourists who will gather on the boardwalk this Sunday, February 11th, during the First Grand Parade of Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán 2024 “Eclipse Barroco”.

The parade route on the coastal promenade begins at the Fisherman’s Monument towards Rafael Buelna Avenue.

At 4:30 p.m. the commercial outpost will leave with the participation of sponsors who will distribute souvenirs to the attendees as they pass.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., the Carnaval magic will begin with the passage of the floats, the majestic royal floats, the flash of the illuminated cars, and the amazing passage of giant monogotes, among other surprises such as the presence of special guest Jorge Loza “El Albacete” artist who participated in La Casa de los Famosos.

SGM Carolina III, Queen of Carnaval Internacional Mazatlán 2024, will parade in the majestic floats; SGM Siu Ling I, Queen of the Floral Games; SGM María Paula I, Child Queen; SGM Hector III, King of Joy, the princesses and the male royal court, the honored queens and the royal court of 2023, ambassadors of the culture and beauty of Mexico and the United States of America and special guests.

Under the production of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, on this occasion 29 floats and 2 giant sculptures will circulate, created by the artists Francisco Igartua, Juan José Boronat and Ángel Trujillo who are part of the “Ninots” team; Cuban artist Henry Wilson, and from Monterrey, Jorge González Neri; Enrique Guzmán and Walter Membrila.

During the parade, the competition and exhibition dance troupes will bring their particular joy, Sinaloa bandas, musical groups, and special guests will participate, such as Jorge Loza “El Albacete,” an artist who participated in La Casa de los Famosos; Melisa Flores, Mexican Universal 2023; Carolina Pérez, Mexicana Universal Hispanoamericana 2023 and Libia Gavica, Mexicana Universal Sinaloa 2023.
It is approximately five kilometers long; The parade, which will be witnessed by thousands of spectators, will begin in front of the Fisherman’s Monument on Av. del Mar heading towards Av. Rafael Buelna.

After several years of absence, the elements of the Mexican Navy return, there will be more than 100 elements that will support so that the parade flows without setbacks. The parade will conclude with the participation of the dancing horses. On Tuesday the 13th the route will be from north to south, it will start on Av. del Mar almost at the intersection with Av. Insurgentes and will advance to Paseo Claussen and Olas Altas to conclude on Av. del Mar.
