A world science fiction classic “Jurassic Park” (1993) will be screened this Saturday, February 17th at 6:00 p.m. at the “Marco Lugo” Cinematograph of the Municipal Arts Center.
This feature film is a masterpiece by visionary director Steven Spielberg adapted from the novel by Michael Crichton, which had wonderful sound and won three Oscars for Best Sound Editing, Best Sound and Best Visual Effects.
The plot presents John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), an enthusiastic millionaire who acquires an island in Costa Rica, Isla Nublar, and with the help of various investors achieves the miracle of bringing back from the past, through cloning and DNA reconstruction, some species of dinosaurs.
During some tests carried out at said facility, sabotage occurs by one of the employees, causing serious problems in the security system, together with the sudden formation of a tropical cyclone, allowing the dinosaurs to escape from their facilities.
The film is projected in its original English language, with Spanish subtitles, the doors will open 20 minutes before the start of the performance and entry will be on Carnaval Street without number in the Centro neighborhood, at Plazuela Machado.
