A cien años del natalicio del artista sinaloense que se convirtió en ícono de la época de oro del cine mexicano, Televisa decidió rendirle tributo con la actuación de artistas de la televisión como Maribel Guardia, Pedro Fernández, Playa Limbo, Río Roma, Napoleón, Jay de la Cueva, Banda El Recodo, la Orquesta Sinfónica Sinaloa de las Artes, Luis Coronel, Mimoso y Jorge Gallegos.Durante la trasmisión aparecerán cápsulas que acentúan la grandeza de las artes en Sinaloa, la vida agrícola, la gastronomía, la actividad comercial, industrial y turística, y los atractivos naturales que distinguen al estado.
El homenaje a Pedro Infante es una iniciativa de la empresa televisora apoyada por el Gobierno de Sinaloa a través de la Secretaría de Turismo, con la intención de rescatar el legado de uno de los artistas más entrañables de México y promover el desarrollo y las oportunidades de inversión en la entidad sinaloense.
