“Espectro visible” [visible spectrum] is the title of the exhibition made up of the most recent work of Marysol Galván Pelayo. The pictorial exhibition will be inaugurated on Thursday, August 31st at 7:00 p.m. in the Rubio Gallery. Free entrance.
Visible spectrum is a term that refers to a plot of light intensity or power as a function of frequency or wavelength also referred to as saturation.
In Latin, spectrum means “image” or “appearance”, the spectral colors are the colors present in visible light.
In this collection, color and shapes are inseparable, the color of the visible spectrum of light is a quality of the work of Marysol Galván.
Marysol Galván Pelayo has a degree in Visual Arts with a specialization in painting (UdG), an arts and creativity teacher for children, secondary and university level, with diplomas in curatorship, museography and cultural management; graphic designer and creator of the Collective of Women Artists in 2019.
Her work is characterized by the vibrant use of color in her compositions inspired by the colors of sunsets, made in different formats and techniques; she highlights the technique of acrylic, watercolor and mixed.
She has exhibited in galleries in Mazatlán, Guadalajara, Guerrero, Mexico City, Los Angeles, California, New York, and Montreal in Canada.
She has collaborated in stage design, institutional design, editorial and organization of cultural events in Mazatlán.
“Espectro visible” will remain open to the public at Galería Rubio until September 22nd. Free admission.
