This Friday, October 13th at 8:00 p.m., the Infonavit Alarcón basketball court will serve as the stage to welcome the Cultura en tu Casa program, where the protagonists will be the members of the Jazz Band of the Municipal Arts Center.

With a wide repertoire to perform, and motivated after their debut as a band in previous days, the young musicians led by maestro Omar Ríos will give their best in what they promise will be a spectacular night.

David Aguilar, flutist of the band, asserted that for this occasion the group will be ready to give the show to the fullest, he envisions that better things are coming for this concert since they are preparing intensely.

“It was a good experience because it is music that is not shared much lately and being able to share it and see that people like it was gratifying. We invite you to have a good time, we hope you like it because it is part of jazz, it comes from our being, it is something we create by improvising, we are playing the piece that someone made, but within that we are creating our own melodies.”, indicated the musician.

For Deneb Madrigal, since she joined the band a year ago as the bassist, this time has been interesting, of growth for her and her classmates, who are CMA music students, and she hopes that more opportunities of this type will be given.
One of the motivations of this group is to create music as such, since everyone is in contact with its various forms and genres, making each one delve deeper into it.

Some of the pieces that will be played at night are styles that range from jazz to swing, or some more like blues, others like funk, the pieces that stand out the most are “Chameleons”, “Affirmation”, and they will premiere on the play list on classic “The Chiken”, songs that will undoubtedly be liked by those attending.
