After several months of inactivity, the majestic Angela Peralta Theater reopened its doors to host the start of the Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2020l “United in Art”.

With the magnificent concert “Magisterial Musical Journey” by the Camerata Mazatlán String Assembly, this Festival is open and will be active until December 31 with major events.

Between violin, viola, cello, harpsichord and piano the artists Nina Farvarshchuk, Alain Cheiner Valencia, Víctor Alonso Osuna, Karen Cisneros and Juan Pablo García, offered a magical night. Through the precision of the notes and the passion that permeated from each one of them, the audience was transported to the Baroque era with compositions by great musicians such as Dmitri Schistakovich, Antonio Vivaldi, Maurice Ravel and Alexander Borodin.

The Director of  Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, Lic. José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, led the opening of the Festival, specified that the Institute entrusted to Mayor Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez, will continue to bring culture and art to all corners of the municipality adapting to the new normality and respecting all health and healthy distance protocols.

The Festival will continue its activity on Saturday, October 3, at 7:30 p.m., at the Angela Peralta Theater with the staging Anatomy of Love by the company Delfos Danza Contemporánea, tickets are already on sale at the box office at a general cost of $200 pesos.
