Daily struggles, great learning, coming and going, majestic presentations, thousands of applause received, hundreds of smiles given away, 10 years have passed since the founding of the Mazatlán Ballet Company and they will celebrate it with the great show “Gala Décimo Aniversario”, one more event of the Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2021 successfully realized by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán.
This Institution for the formation of great talents and an important platform for the world of ballet, was founded in 2011, its first performance “La Fille Mal Gardée” was performed on November 11 of the same year in the presence of Dr. Ramona De Saa Bello, Director and Advisor of the Cuban School of Ballet. In its beginnings called Compañía Danza Ballet de Mazatlán it had the indisputable impulse of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán and of maestros Zoila Fernández and Guillermo Carrillo have, that today have built one of the best dance institutions of this beautiful art.
For the show “Tenth Anniversary Gala”, the 14 dancers that make it up have prepared around 11 great classical, contemporary and neoclassical choreographies, such as “Romeo and Juliet”, “Flame of Paris”, “Carnaval de Venecia”, and “Corsair” , among other.
In addition to this presentation, dancers from the School of Classical Ballet of Cultura will also be on stage, all of them directed by maestro Guillermo Carrillo.
The “Tenth Anniversary Gala” will be held this Saturday, November 13th, at 8:00 p.m. at the Angela Peralta Theater, tickets are now on sale at the box office at a cost of $200 pesos orchestra, $150 pesos first and second balcony, and $100 pesos third balcony.
