The concert “Historias de amor” was beautiful from start to finish, where the impressive voices of Mazatlecan soprano Karen Barraza, American tenor Mack Whitney and the interpretation of pianist Juan Pablo García delighted dozens of attendees who gathered at Casa Haas to aim for one more success in Spring Season 2022.

The musical program was made up of various opera arias, world classical songs that were to the taste of the attendees, where pieces such as “La Bohéme” and “Madama Butterfly” stood out, written by the legendary Giacomo Puccini; “Elixir of love” by Gaetano Donizetti; Jules Massenet’s “Manon”; “La Traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi, “Carmen” by George Bizet and “Faust” by the immortal Charles Gounod, which they developed with astuteness and quality on stage.

During the first half the artists made important participations, great duos where the feeling towards the song and the love they have for each other was reflected.

It was more than 60 minutes of immense talent that in the end was recognized with applause from the respectable audience.

This show is part of the billboard for Spring Season 2022, organized by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, where thousands of people of all ages have been part of the different events that are promoted, such as singing, theater, dance, ballet, painting and literature.
