The San Carlos Borromeo parish and the La Sagrada Familia temple will open their doors to receive musicians from the Camerata Mazatlán in another edition of the Cultura con Historia program, which with a magnificent repertoire of the billboard of the Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2023.
With music from different artists at each venue, at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17th and Wednesday, October 18th, the free concerts produced by the Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán will begin.
The San Carlos Borromeo Parish, located on Avenida Río Baluarte #215 in the Palos Prietos neighborhood, will be the first venue for the pair of presentations, where the String Orchestra will give a beautiful recital.
The musicians prepared an entertaining program with the best of notable Mexican composers such as Manuel M. Ponce, Enrique Mora, Agustín Lara, Armando Manzanero and Juan Pablo Moncayo.
Some of the pieces that will be played will be: “Vals Alejandra”, “Estrellita”, “Solamente una vez”, “Contigo aprendí”, and “Huapango”, among others.
On Wednesday, October 18th, the Adagio Trio group made up of violinist Víctor Alonso Osuna, cellist Citlali Cisneros and pianist Juan Pablo García, will be in charge of providing heavenly musical moments to those who come to the La Sagrada Familia parish, located in the intersection of Del Cisne and Río de la Plata streets in the Gaviotas neighborhood.
A select recital with classic compositions by Camille Saint-Saëns, Percy Aldridge Grainge, Georges Bizet, Pyotr Ilich Tchaikovsky, will delight the audience.
Through these presentations, the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán continues with the incessant promotion of fine arts, in alternate venues that Mazatlecans traditionally attend.
