Only 55 days until the port’s biggest festival begins, Carnaval Internacional de Mazatlán 2024 “Baroque Eclipse”, staff from the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán and municipal authorities took the first tour of recognition in Olas Altas and Avenida del Mar to verify and implement an operation that provides security to all attendees.

Personnel from various areas of the Mazatlán City Council participated in the tour: CULTURA, Revenue, Commerce, Municipal Police, Municipal Transit, Civil Protection and sponsors of the great party.

Enrique Vega Ayala, Planning Director of the Instituto de Cultura and his work team led the group that toured the Carnaval area and highlighted that they are in time to make improvements to the protocol.

“It is the first tour to review the conditions in which Olas Altas is, and how the required installations will be made. We must analyze the facilities for each type of business, we have to see the spaces to be reserved for the pyrotechnic issues of the Naval Combat and in the routes on Avenida del Mar, check for the new conditions based on the new towers (under construction ),” he expressed.

During the tour they made notes considering points of sale, security, entrances, exits, bathroom installation, electrical installations and more.

It will be from Thursday, February 8th to Tuesday, February 13th when Carnaval Internacional de Mazatlán 2024 “Baroque Eclipse” takes place, a celebration that during the six days of the festival registers massive entries in all its events.
