Very fun Mexican moments will be experienced this Wednesday, December 6th and Thursday, December 7th at 7:00 p.m. at Casa Haas during the “Pastorela Mexicana”.

Under the artistic direction of maestras Silvia Flores and Alejandra Quintanilla, students of all levels of the Theater School of the Municipal Center of the Arts, will offer a fun production of this Mexican theatrical tradition, which for several centuries has provided an entertaining vision of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Among angels, devils, shepherds and other key characters in the birth of Jesus Christ, “Pastorela Mexicana” will demonstrate how theater is a great vehicle to educate, entertain and preserve some of the most endearing traditions of Mexico, in the midst of a great union between the acting family and the Mazatlecan public.

“Pastorela Mexicana” has a tradition of six continuous editions, it is based on the work of maestro Sergio Esquivel, adapted to current situations that arise to create a dynamic, comic and social criticism show, a formula that has worked well and provides students the opportunity to go on stage.

Tickets for this fun performance are on sale at the Ángela Peralta Theater box office, they cost $150 pesos per person for any performance, and can be purchased from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm.
