Thirteen students of the Opera Workshop of the Municipal Arts Center of the Cultural Institute of Mazatlan showed their great vocal and interpretive quality in the recital “Soirée Liric”, held this Friday at Casa Haas.
Accompanied by pianist Juan Pablo García and under the direction of maestro Enrique Patrón De Rueda, these young promises of the Mexican opera offered a beautiful program composed of arias, German songs and ensembles, by composers such as Ludwig Van Beethoven, Charles Gounod, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart or Giacomo Puccini.
Delicate, passionate, full of elegance and exquisiteness, “Soirée Liric” demonstrated the rigor and excellence that the Opera Workshop of the Municipal Arts Center of the Cultural Institute of Mazatlan has reached in recent years to become one of the main operatic seedbeds of the country.
The audience enthusiastically applauded each performance as a token of appreciation for the professionalism and dedication of these artists.
