In the heat of the Mazatlan afternoon, this Sunday, the finals of the International Dance Festival “Funk Paradise Mazatlan 2019” took place on the court of the Martiniano Carvajal Park.
The 5th edition of this event organized by Funk Paradise, Sick Toys and Original Fluir, had the support of the Cultural Institute of Mazatlan, the Municipal Institute of Youth and the Ministry of Tourism, that strengthened the development of this festival and positioned itself as one of the three best in the country.
In categories such as popping, looking and breaking, local, national and international artists competed alone, some duos and trios with explosive dances that overflowed with energy and tremendous creativity to create a cheerful and wild atmosphere that captured the attention of children and adults.
DJ Roxswift and DJ Koper were responsible for spurring the dancers, showing how the Hip-Hop culture continues to take root and gain power in Mazatlan.
