The Cycle: “Writers” begins, with biographical films in homage to different writers of the world in the Cinema of Casa de Haas.

This Saturday, August 24, at 7:00 p.m., the first film to be screened is “Neruda”, by Chilean director Pablo Larraín, which premiered at Cannes in 2016.

“Neruda” is a film that invites reflection and a taste of how art, in this case poetry and cinema, can play with something that is considered cold, such as politics.

On Saturday, August 31, “Capote” will be screened a film directed by Bennett Miller and starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, who won the Oscar for best actor for this performance.

To close the cycle of projections, on Saturday September 7, “Mishima, a life of four chapters”, a film about the life and work of Yukio Mishima will be presented.

Admission to enjoy the projection cycle at the Casa Haas cinema is free and with limited space.

The first projection will be its original language of Spanish, while the last two will be in English with Spanish subtitles.
