With a very varied program that includes projection of videos, poetry and dance, the Grupo Danzón Mazatlán will present the show “Antología del Danzón”, an event that belongs to the calendar of activities of the Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2021 carried out by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte directed by Lic. José Ángel Tostado Quevedo.
In this show the Danzón Group will travel back in time between classic pieces of this wonderful dance, also giving away teaching and history of this musical genre.
The repertoire will include pieces such as “Almendra”, “Rigoletito”, “Nereidas”, “Kumbala”, and “La bamba”, among others.
The appointment is this Friday, November 5 at 7:30 p.m., at the Casa Haas venue, tickets are already on sale at the Angela Peralta Theater box office at a general cost of 150 pesos, the quota is limited to 50 people who upon entering must abide by the health, prevention and healthy distance guidelines.
Danzón Mazatlán, led by Mr. Manuel Trejo, is an independent dance group that has been present at local and national events. It is made up of students of all ages.
