Everything is ready for this Friday, November 5th, to start another edition of the Artwalk, the Camino de Arte 2021-2022, an ideal space created to disseminate and support local and foreign artists in the Centro Historico of Mazatlán.

In what will be the sixteenth realization of this event, which has always been supported by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, there will be the participation of 45 artists distributed in 26 galleries, which will have acrylic, watercolors, digital art, ceramics, enamel, Huichol art, photography, engraving, jewelry, woodcutting, among other works created with different techniques on display.

Manry Fuentevilla, organizer of the Art Walk, invites the Mazatlan community to be part of this festival, which is highly appreciated by foreign residents and tourists, who last year were an important piece for the consolidation of the event.

For this year the exhibitors will maintain the health protocol inside their galleries, which ranges from entering in small groups, applying gel and wearing a mask at all times.

The dates on which the Art Walk will be held in 2021 will be Friday, November 5 and December 3, while for 2022 the calendar will be January 7, February 4, March 4 and April 1, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

At the conference, Maestra Zoila Fernández Fernández, Artistic Director of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, indicated that in the Rubio Gallery and Ángela Peralta Gallery, dozens of pieces will be on display, which are displayed with a cause to help artists with special abilities in various ways.
