The Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, through the Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2021, offers society an endless number of quality shows of different expressions, also in its extensive calendar it invites you to join the different artistic workshops, This Monday, November 29th and until December 3rd, the Actoral Improvisation Workshop will be held.

José Arturo Torres Corrales, actor, director and theater producer known as Josar, together with the members of the Iguana Roja company, including Dulce Guzmán and Michelle Moreno, will be imparting knowledge to a maximum group of 14 people of different ages, who will attend Casa Haas from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The student will learn improvisation techniques that will help them transform the desired information into a story with a beginning, development and ending, starting from a question asked to the public. At the end of the workshop they will have the tools to build, structure and interpret totally improvised short comedy scenes to surprise the audience.

Interested parties must pay a fee of $500 pesos at the Angela Peralta Theater Box Office, or at the teaching venue and as a requirement, no training or prior knowledge of acting is necessary, just have a lot of creativity and a good sense of humor.

Those who attend the course must abide by the established health safety regulations, such as presenting a vaccination certificate, or a negative Covid-19 test, wearing a face mask at all times, using antibacterial gel and respecting healthy distanc,ing all with the aim of providing a safe environment for each attendee.
