By chance, five stories are intertwined in a place known to few, from behind bars come the moving stories of these protagonists who come together and learn to cope with this difficult situation, it is “Caneros ”, a play written and directed by Ramón Gómez Polo from Mazatlan who returns this Thursday, May 4th, to the Ángela Peralta Theater.

Impressive from the beginning, “Caneros” will be interpreted by the great actors Luis Rábago and José Luis Rodríguez, from the National Theater Company, together with a local cast made up of El Josar, José Manzanilla and Alejandro Careaga, from Iguana Roja Teatro, who They will give life to the inmates who, united by their passion for theater, found reasons to get ahead.

“Caneros” is inspired by real events and experiences, analyzes the transformation of the human being through art and highlights the metamorphosis of the artist in training. Since its debut, this work has been widely accepted in the Port and its participation in the National Theater Show stands out.

The play is presented this Thursday, May 4th at 8:00 p.m. at the Ángela Peralta Theater within Spring Season 2023, directed for an audience of adolescents and adults.
