With a sample of folkloric dance and the presence of Víctor Quiroz, King of Carnaval Internacional de Mazatlán 2023, the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte promoted the cultural and artistic vocation of this city before those attending the Infoagro Exhibition 2023, an international event.

In the forum that promotes the products and services offered by the most powerful companies in the agricultural sector worldwide, the Folkloric Ballet of the Instituto de Cultura, directed by maestro Javier Arcadia, attracted the attention of the attendees by dancing to the melody “Mazatlán”. The song written by Gabriel Ruiz, became a success in the voice of Mike Laure in the year 1965.

Dressed in his royal costume, the ruler of the Port’s Carnaval, Víctor II greeted those attending this business meeting and his presence drew so much attention becuse there were those who wanted to take photos with him.

For the third consecutive year, the port of Mazatlán became the venue for this prestigious event that has its roots in the city of Almería, Spain, and brings together exhibitors, speakers and various agricultural professionals, with their innovations, news, products and services.

The official opening of the event was chaired by the Municipal President of Mazatlán, Edgar González Zatarain; the Undersecretary of Agriculture in Sinaloa, Ramón Gallegos; the Director of Infoagro Exhibition México 2023, Oscar Martínez Jiménez and the President of the Organizing Committee of Infoagro Exhibition Spain, Rodrigo González Márquez.

After the ribbon cutting, authorities, organizers and guests of honor toured the more than 200 stands installed, where in the next three days business could be carried out that will benefit local producers.
