The exhibition ” Techos Floreados” by Canadian-British watercolor artist born in Medellín, Colombia, Jane Saborio was inaugurated Thursday, at the Ángela Peralta Gallery and will remain open to the public until July 7th.

The Director of Planning of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, Enrique Vega Ayala, welcomed the public, who in the absence of the artist thanked her for the contribution of her works so that Mazatlecos can enjoy her technique .

The pieces exhibited in the Ángela Peralta Gallery take the viewer on a tour of the old estates of Centro Historico of Mazatlán, the vegetation that intrepidly and meandering along the walls of the old estates, the quiet of its patios and gardens, the colorful of the nineteenth-century buildings; a hat seller who walks on the beach and the beauty of the sea.

The paintings are for sale and their prices range from $180 to $1,800. If you want more information you can request it from the gallery staff.

Through her work, Jane Saborio shows us Mediterranean architecture, flowers, fauna, landscapes, indigenous peoples and their surroundings, which are designed with oil, watercolor and acrylics based on three primary colors that express with feeling and invites the viewer to appreciate the natural beauty of this world.

Her works appear in the commercial collections of the Royal Bank of Canada and in private collections in France, England, Japan, Canada and the United States.

The exhibition will be open to the public until July 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This event is part of the Spring Season offered by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán.
