The suspense of French cinema comes to the “Marco Lugo” Cinematographer with “Anatomy of a Fall”

A French gem awarded with the Palme d’Or in 2023 and in 2024 with the Golden Globe in the category of Best Foreign Language Film, arrives this Saturday, January 27th at the “Marco Lugo” Cinema of the Municipal Center for the Arts, screens the film “Anatomy of a Fall” by French Director Justin Triet.
“Anatomy of a Fall”, is a full-length suspense and judicial drama film, starring Sandra Hüller who plays a writer who tries to prove her innocence in the death of her husband. .
A man dies under mysterious circumstances after a fall in his own home in the French Alps. After the autopsy returns inconclusive results, all eyes focus on his wife Sandra (Sandra Hüller), an important German author who maintains her innocence.
During the trial, many events are revealed that will complicate her situation. However, the fate of the case falls on Daniel, the couple’s blind, 11-year-old son, who, with his dog, found the body.
“Anatomy of a Fall” is a film about details, where each decision tries to show us something, or even more interesting, create a stimulus in the audience that leads us to our own conclusions. The film hides behind a legal drama, but at its core is the gripping discovery of the torments of a family facing tragedy.
The film is projected in its original French language with Spanish subtitles, the show begins at 6:00 p.m., access to the cinema will be free and will be given 15 minutes before entering through the CMA entrance on Carnaval Street, at Machado Square.
