The first Friday of February has arrived, and with it a new chapter of ArtWalk, the Camino del Arte 2023-24, where dozens of artisans, national and foreign artists will exhibit their creations to locals, residents and tourists in galleries and spaces of Centro Historico.

Marysol Galván Pelayo, project coordinator, indicated that they are anxious and hope that it will be an afternoon with many sales, as has happened in previous editions, both in the normal ones and in the special ones, where the art houses and plazas receive to hundreds of visits.

“We hope there will be a lot of people, the foreigners who predominate in the visits arrived slowly, the rhythm this year was different, but there are a lot of visitors, so, they know that the first Friday of the month is the day they have reserved, and there are people “They have the expectation of what is going to happen,” she exclaimed.

The artist asked the Mazatlecan community to attend, visit and buy, as it is an event where there is an increasing presence of locals, but they are still surpassed by residents and tourists from North American countries.
For this occasion, a novelty is that regarding collective spaces, only those located in the facilities of the Ministry of Tourism, and the Venustiano Carranza Park (next to the Museum of Art), will remain open, which have been very busy and offer different works and products. to those that can be found in participating galleries.
The appointment for this ArtWalk, the Camino del Arte is from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
