Dia de la Musica 2019 began this Friday, offering a wide menu of options to have fun on the stage located in the Plazuela Machado.

At 7:00 p.m., there was the presentation of Grupo 2034; Abraham, Paul and Luis Fabián, three young Mazatlecans, based on hip hop, giving a voice to situations, stories or problems that occur today with songs like “Sunflowers”, “Pilgrims” or “Pay attention”, with this, they look for raise awareness and generate interest in society to solve the problems.

The fiesta for Dia de la Musica continued with the presentation of Giovanni Figueroa, considered one of the best drummers in Mexico and Latin America, who along with Ignacio Chávez and Alberto López, managed to captivate those present under the rhythm of jazz with themes by Nate Smith and Kenny Garrett.

An hour later, El Coro Angela Peralta made her appearance on stage presenting the concert “Echoes of Mexico and Spain” composed of unforgettable pieces of zarzuela and Mexican songs, having Óscar Gómez as a special guest, who with his unique voice, enchanted the audience that attended performing songs like “Amor, vida de mi vida”, “No puede ser”, and “Nunca digas”, among others, next to the talented soloists of the Itzel Furichi Choir and Tania Barrón who will soon enter a Bachelors of singing, formed in the Municipal Center of the Arts, a seedbed to professionalize great talents.

Closing this first day of celebration with a flourish, La Falsa Orquesta Cubana madeput the large audience dance under the unmistakable flavor of Afro-Cuban music and Latin jazz; “Quien será”, “Son de la loma”, “Perfume de Gardenia”, “Llorarás”, “El Manicero”, “Who will be”, “Son de la loma”, “Perfume de Gardenia”, “Llorarás”, and “El Manicero”, were part of the musical repertoire.

There were more than 4 hours of fun with live music for those who experienced the Historic Center of Mazatlan. Dia de la Musica is part of Spring Season 2019, which on this occasion provides two days of celebration. This Saturday the party will continue starting at 7:30 pm on four stages that will be located both in the Historic Center and in Olas Altas.

It should be noted that in this edition the photography contest will take place. Participants must post their material in public mode in the social network of Facebook with the hashtag #ViveLaMúsica. The equipment, format and photography technique is open, the best will be part of an exhibition in the Plazuela Machado
