Lights, great voices and a wide repertoire of songs in the style of the great musicals, made “Lights of Broadway”, a quality show that was enjoyed by the spectators who packed the Casa Haas building on the weekend night.
The Ángela Peralta Choir, directed by Maestra María Murillo, gave a superb concert that at times had people on their feet, singing the songs, earning public recognition at the end of each melody.
Soloists such as Elizabeth Estolano, Roberto Sánchez, Itzel Furichi, and Flor Estrada, among others, took the stage performing songs such as María, Sandy, Think of me, Summertime, Stars, to name a few, melodies that were accompanied by pianist Sergio Castellanos.
To close with a flourish, soprano Marysol Calles appeared on stage who was accompanied in duet by Itzel Furichi, leaving the stage ready for the Angela Peralta Choir to conclude the musical with the theme One.
