The students of the Children’s Theater Workshop and the Children’s Choir of the Municipal Arts Center showed fun, joy and dynamism during the presentation of the emblematic play “El Mago de Oz”.
As part of the Mazatlan Cultural Festival 2019, the show took over the Angela Peralta Theater, giving dozens of attendees the experience of a night full of smiles and admiration.
Despite the young age of the artists, the work was carried out with great professionalism, at times with mischief and improvisation, earning the ovation of the public.
The story told the adventures that Dorothy and her puppy Toto expereinced in the fantastic world of Oz, which they arrived at after a tornado when she was at home.
During her adventure, the little girl made friends like the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Lion, who together they went through great experiences defeating the evil witches of the East and West, reaching the Wizard of Oz who closed the story granting the characters a happy ending.
