This Friday, together with the iconic letters of Mazatlán, the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, directed by Lic. José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, carried out a colorful Summer Cultural Activation that starred a group of talented artists.

The beauty of the Pacific Ocean and the three islands was complemented by the designs of three graphic artists who created colorful multi-colored partitions.

The Classical Ballet Company of the Instituto de Cultura, directed by maestro Guillermo Carrillo, presented a fine dance program created to the rhythm of tango and Mexican classics such as “México Lindo y Querida”, “Vals Alejandra”, “Viva México” and “Cielito Lindo”.

Subsequently, the sensuality of the Tremendo Mambo Academy took the breath of the public away with a vibrant choreography full of tropical flavor with the song “Pueblo Nuevo”.

With “Las Indias”, “Gavilancillo”, “La Madrugada” and “El Son de la Negra” the Folkloric Ballet of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan and its director Javier Arcadia filled the air of this hot Mazatlan afternoon with excitement.

The closing of the show came with all the flavor of “El Corrido de Mazatlán” in a great choreography performed with colorful Carnaval costumes by the Classical Ballet company.

This initiative is promoted by the Mayor of Mazatlán, Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres, seeking to create spaces for healthy recreation for the people of Mazatlan.
