There is the family of artists, exhibitors, vendors and others that are celebrating. They make up Artwalk: El camino del arte, a free event, as well as a tradition in the Port of Mazatlán which celebrates 15 editions this season. It will begin on Friday, the 6th of November and will conclude on April 9, 2021.

At a press conference held at Casa Haas, José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, General Director of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, accompanied by Manry Fuentevilla, Manager of the Proyecto Centro Histórico (Historic Center Project), gave the details of this multi-colored festival that offers a wide variety at each participating site.

Tostado Quevedo indicated that this event is very important for the community of Centro Historico, reason enough to continue supporting the 15th edition as they have the previous ones. For the 2020-2021 edition, there will be free access to 23 galleries, there the attendees will be able to appreciate and even acquire products from 40 local and foreign artists from Mazatlán.

The general public will be able to appreciate photography, painting, jewelry, digital arts, ceramics, engravings, woodcuts and many other techniques in the different galleries from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Due to the effects of the global pandemic caused by Covid-19, the hosts will take all necessary measures to carry out a responsible visit.

The purpose of the Artwalk is the dissemination, promotion and sale of the most outstanding works of local, national and international artists who are interested in enriching the port’s fine arts culture.
