With a fine musical repertoire made up of great authors, the Concierto Navideño (Christmas Concert) was a great success, amazing the attendees who gathered at the majestic Angela Peralta Theater in what was the first performance of the last great event that makes up the Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2020 carried out by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán directed by José Ángel Tostado Quevedo.

The musicians of the Camerata Mazatlán, directed by maestro Héctor Javier Reyes Bonilla, toasted a superb night interpreting classic themes of the season such as pieces created by Piotr Ilich Tchaikovski that make up the famous work “Nutcracker Suite”, songs that were applauded on each occasion that the audience had a chance before the intermission break.

With the inspiration achieved, the second part was the ideal setting for the Angela Peralta Choir to come on stage, directed by maestra Mary Murillo, and thus sang songs by George F. Handel in the company of the chamber musicians.
Some of the melodic themes were, Malachi 3: 3, Revelation 19: 6 and The Messiah, which at the end of the freezing night illuminated and ignited the feelings of the attendees.

For this great event, the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán recreated in the lobby of the theater, an atmosphere worthy of Christmas with a nativity scene that reminded attendees of the reason for these parties.

For Saturday the second function will start at 8:00 p.m., with a recital that will surely make the respectable public vibrate.
