The Concierto Navideño (Christmas Concert) was the finishing touch with which the Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2020 culminated successfully, a contest that will mark a before and after in the municipality in the way of organizing shows.
For the 2020 edition, the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, directed by José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, made history by creating dozens of cultural events with health security measures, as well as the implementation of virtual events that were from the taste and acceptance of the audience.
Tostado Quevedo affirmed that despite the pandemic, the human capital of the Instituto de Cultura was able to hold events taking all precautionary measures in addition to bringing culture digitally, thus supporting any manifestation of the different fine arts, he thanked all for the support at all times of the public who trusted in this important project.
Once again, the musicians of the Camerata Mazatlán, led by maestro Héctor Javier Reyes Bonilla, gave a spectacular concert with melodies that evoke the Christmas holidays.
The Angela Peralta Choir, led by maestra Mary Murillo, graced the night by singing George F. Handel’s songs, highlighting the pieces Malaquias 3: 3, Revelation 19: 6 and Messiah.
