The idea is to publicize the educational offering of the Municipal Center of the Arts
With the purpose of promoting careers and artistic training workshops offered by the Municipal Center for the Arts (CMA), the school community will be invited to the Encounter with the Arts, on Tuesday, March 28. March at ten in the morning.
The event will offer a tour of the classrooms and facilities of the CMA to culminate with a Performance at the Ángela Peralta Theater, with the performance of the artistic community of this educational center.
The Encounter with the Arts is aimed at primary, secondary and high school students with the aim of disseminating the educational offering and promoting dialogue between students, artists and teachers so that they can verify the quality of artistic education at the Municipal Center for the Arts.
Liliana Aréchiga, director of the CMA, said that schools interested in attending can request their registration since space is limited.

The Municipal Arts Center depends on the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte. Inside, 9 artistic companies gravitate: Classical Ballet Company, Ballet Folklorico de Cultura, Camerata Mazatlán, Ángela Peralta Choir, Guillermo Sarabia Choir, Delfos Danza Contemporánea, Iguana Roja Teatro, Youth Symphony Orchestra and Children’s Orchestra.
They teach 16 workshops: Classical Ballet, Cinematography, Plastic Arts (Drawing, Painting, Engraving, Sculpture), Theater, Children’s Theater, Music, Opera, Children’s Choir, Adult Choir, Literature, Children’s Literature, Comics and Regional Music. -Requirements: Minimum age 8 years; Fill out the application for admission and make the registration payment.
The Municipal Center for the Arts offers 4 technical careers – key SEPyC 25EET007G: Music, Theater Art, Fine Arts and Classical Ballet and a Diploma in Cinematography. – Requirements: High school certificate; pass the audition, fill out the application and make the registration payment.
