With drawings, lines and brushstrokes of color, students from the children’s workshops of Fine Arts of the Municipal Center for the Arts will interpret, express and enjoy in a unique way, the work of famous painters during the exhibition end of courses “Colorful Colors”.

The exhibition will be inaugurated this Thursday, May 25th at 7:00 p.m. at the Rubio Gallery and is made up of 47 paintings made in acrylic and watercolor and nine sculptures.

This collective assembly will reflect the artistic development of dozens of children and adolescents who have ventured into the exciting world of painting in the CMA workshops, by the hand of their teachers Cecilia García Morales, Jesús Abraham López Ibarra and Karely Colio de Haro.

In the exhibition, the students will recreate their favorite piece of a famous artist and the properly framed paintings will remain on display at the Rubio Gallery until June 30th so that they can be admired by the public.

The “Colorful Colors” exhibition is part of the Spring Season 2023 and the public can enter for free.

The Rubio Gallery is open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, on Saturdays its working hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
