The joy, verve and colors of regional dance reached the union of El Recodo through the long-awaited performance of dancers from the Ballet Folklorico of the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán.

A total of 18 dancers directed by maestro and choreographer Javier Arcadia and 12 members of the Youth Ballet directed by maestro Erik Carrillo, brought entertainment and fun to the inhabitants of this community located 27 kilometers southeast of Mazatlán.

A cradle of musicians and saddle makers, El Recodo happily received the dance performance in the community plaza where its inhabitants gathered to enjoy the presentation.
The program included 14 representative pieces from the states of Nuevo León, Durango and Mazatlán such as the Dance of the Deer, Mazatlán Night, Contemporary Sinaloa, El Coyote, El sauce y la palma, Costeño, Sinaloa Ranchero, India Bonita, Niño perdido, Cuichi and to sayng goodbye with the traditional Corrido de Mazatlán.

The artists left their souls on stage and the public, in reciprocity for their dedication, fired them with loud applause and smiles.
