The Ángela Peralta Choir will delight with Gala de Zarzuela, an exquisite selection of the best-known works by fans of the Spanish genre performed on two pianos to benefit the Mazatlán Orphanage.

The concert will take place this Thursday, November 30th at 6:00 p.m. at the Mazatlán Orphanage facilities.

The voices of the Ángela Peralta Choir directed by maestra María Murillo, will be accompanied by pianist Sergio Castellanos and a special guest, maestro Antonio González, founder of the CAP, who will meet again with the voices that he himself formed and contributed to the world of the opera: soprano Marysol Calles and baritone Juan Fernando Martínez.

“This Thursday, November 30th, we will have a zarzuela gala to benefit the Mazatlán Orphanage. We will have as a guest maestro Antonio González who, together with Sergio Castellanos, on two pianos will accompany the Ángela Peralta Choir with famous choirs of zarzuela and romanzas, we will also have guest artists such as soprano Marysol Calles and baritone Juan Fernando Martínez, it will be an unforgettable concert ”said María Murillo.

Within the repertoire, arias from famous zarzuelas will be performed such as “Barberillo de Lavapiés”, “Las Leandras”, “Las Hijas del Zebedeo”, “Luisa Fernanda”, “La Paloma”, and some well-known romances.

Since its birth and evolution, the Ángela Peralta Choir has housed outstanding voices, which demonstrate what can be achieved when firmness and determination feed dreams and help develop a talent with which one is born. The group is characterized by constantly supporting projects of charity.
