The majestic Angela Peralta Theater recovered its artistic and cultural life in a spectacular way thanks to the concert “Música de Cine” (Music of the Movies) that opened the Camerata 2021 Season.
From the opening of the doors, spectators entered the world of cinema thanks to the spectacular assembly and decoration of the creatives of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán directed by José Ángel Tostado Quevedo.
Thus began the journey of stories narrated through music interpreted with precision and emotion by the Camerata Mazatlán under the baton of Director Héctor Javier Reyes Bonilla.
Great visual montages accompanied the music, stories of inspiration with a repertoire of love, passion, struggle and dedication made up of pieces from films such as “Alice in Wonderland”, “Frozen”, “The Godfather”, “Gladiator” , “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “Star Wars”, and “Harry Potter”, among others.
Lighting, visual effects such as snowfall, scenic and video montage, characters that came to life on the stage of the Theater to make the presentation even more realistic and a dedicated audience, all at the service of the beautiful art of music, made this great concert spectacular, showing that art and culture will always be sure reasons to maintain faith and hope.
With all the seats sold out according to the allowed capacity, at the end, the public expressed itself with smiles drawn on their faces and standing applause, the fantasy of living a magical evening thanking the Government of Mazatlán led by the Mayor, Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres for the opportunity to embrace culture closely.
The Music of the Movies concert also served to open the Angela Peralta Bar that will open its doors from today, from Thursday to Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. so that citizens can enjoy drinks and sandwiches with great artistic presentations.
It should be noted that during the event all preventive measures for health and healthy distance were carried out responsibly.
