The inhabitants of El Roble welcomed the “Cultura in your Community” program with open arms, who enjoyed the fantastic performance “Stories of a cricket” starring students of all levels of the Municipal School of Classical Ballet of the Municipal Center of the Arts.
The function was emotional and joyful for the people of Roble who experienced an afternoon of nostalgia listening to classic songs by Francisco Gabilondo Soler “Cri-Cri”, performed by dancers under the choreographic direction of maestra Zoila Fernández Fernández.
There were more than 120 attendees who gathered in the town plaza to appreciate a free show for everyone, which occasionally reaches their community and became a reality thanks to the work of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán.
For almost an hour the local sound played melodies such as “La patita”, “Las vocales”, “La merienda”, “El chorrito”, “Che araña”, “Chong Ki Fu”, “El ropero”, “La Fiesta de los zapatos”, “Muñeca fea”, “Negrita cucurumbé”, “Ratón vaquero”, “Las brujas” and concluded with a song considered a didactic hymn “Caminito de la escuela”.
